About us

A rice trading house buyers can plan around

Golden Paddy Traders buys rice from established mills, checks every lot and supplies it in bulk to distributors, retailers, food service businesses and importers.

“The right grade, packed the right way, delivered when we said it would be.”

Our promise to every buyer

What we do

We take the risk out of buying rice

Rice is a commodity, but no two lots are the same. Grain length, moisture, broken percentage and aroma change from mill to mill and from one crop to the next. Our job is to make sure those differences never reach your customers.

We work with a network of mills across the main growing regions, buy on specification and test each lot before it is packed. When a lot does not meet the grade, it does not ship.

From a single truckload to a regular container programme, you deal with one trade desk that knows your specification, your packing and your delivery window.

What we stand for

How we earn repeat orders

  • Specification first

We quote against a written specification and ship against it. The lab report travels with the goods.

  • Clear, fair pricing

Every quotation spells out packing, delivery terms and validity, so there are no surprises on the invoice.

  • Supply you can plan around

Stock held in fumigated warehouses and planned dispatches keep your shelves and kitchens supplied all season.

  • Partnerships, not one-off deals

We would rather keep a buyer for years than win a single order. Regular buyers get priority allocation and agreed terms.

How we work

From paddy to your warehouse

Five steps and one trade desk, so you always know where your order stands.

  1. Sourcing

We buy paddy and milled rice from established mills in the main growing regions, season after season.

  2. Milling and sorting

Rice is cleaned, polished and sortex sorted to the grain length and broken percentage you need.

  3. Testing and samples

Each lot is sampled and tested, and samples go to you for approval before you commit to volume.

  4. Packing

Packed in the bag type and size you choose, plain or printed with your brand.

  5. Dispatch and documents

Delivered by truck or loaded into containers, with invoices, certificates and inspection reports.

Tell us what you need. We'll come back with a quotation.

Share the variety, quantity and packing. You get a clear quote with specification, delivery terms and price validity.
